Super
Blacks... print differently
in digital printing than in offset, and vary differently
on the iGEN3. On the iGEN3, the most saturated and clean
black is 100% black ink. No other inks are needed for
a solid pure black. This black gives clear and precise
knockouts for type and art.
That said, there is ample opportunity to enhance that black
with the addition of more colour, which creates a pronounced

Spot
Colour and CMYK... Getting spot colours
to render predictably can be a challenge. The reason
is that there are many colour that simply cannot be accurately
matched in CMYK. Printing with the iGEN3 is actually
better at matching some Pantone colour compared with
4/c offset printing, especially in the pinks and royal
blues. But for some colours (e.g., Fluorescent and metallic)
it’s a matter of compromise as it is with 4/c offset
